As one of the program's five core activities, the ABEL program provides a wide range of professional learning activities, training sessions and consolidation days, online face-to-face strategies and consultation, and technological support in the integration of tools in the curriculum. These programs are participant-driven and are accredited wherever possible. In addition, the ABEL program organizes annual Summer Institutes, where delegates participate in hands-on sessions and workshops, presentations, social activities and networks with each other to develop new curriculum ideas for the upcoming academic year.
